Ready for a pleasant drive through the foothills, some tasty wines and lunch with friends? Come join us on our tour to the Marechal Winery(see: marechalvineyards.com), which is situated on 160 acres in Sanger that has been in the Marshall family since the early 1900’s.
Marechal, meaning “marshal” in French, has a modern, well appointed tasting room and nice patio, a portion of which will be reserved for our lunch and private tasting.
We will meet at 11:00 AM at Starbucks at 1845 Herndon Avenue, Clovis, just east of Fowler Avenue, and depart at 11:30 for a comfortable 40 minute drive up 168 into the foothills, across Watts Valley and back down to the farmlands of Sanger where Marechal is situated.
So, bring your basket lunch and make room in your trunk, because you will want to fill your cellars with these great wines. There is a $5 tasting fee, which is waived with the purchase of a bottle.
Please RSVP directly to me (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than March 10th – I need to inform the winery of our headcount by then, so it can appropriately plan seating, glasses, staff and parking.
